Meet your driver-guide for a halfday city and river tour. Visit Kuching’s Chinatown, Tua Pek Kong Temple, the Civic Centre Viewing Platform and the Sarawak Museum. On the way back, see landmarks like the Golden-domed Mosque, Old Kuching’s spice markets, heritage buildings from the White Rajah era and the Astana.Then, enjoy a Sarawak River Cruise for scenic views of historic Kuching and traditional river life. Return to your hotel in the afternoon and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy a leisurely morning before joining your guide for a street food tour in the afternoon. Start at Lau Ya Keng and Carpenter Street to sample Sarawak Laksa and Lek Tau Suang dessert.Next, visit Black Bean Coffee for gourmet Sarawak coffee then take a sampan to explore the Malay villages across the river and taste Sarawak Layer Cake. Continue with stops for Kolo Mee, Tomato Kueh Tiaw, Cha Kueh and Bintawa’s Kueh Chap. Finish with Gula Apong Ice Cream before returning to your hotel for the night.

Head out for a traditional Sarawak cooking class. Begin with a guided walk through the local market to purchase fresh ingredients. Back at the cooking venue, learn to prepare authentic Sarawak dishes under the guidance of expert chefs. Enjoy your creations before returning to your hotel in the afternoon for leisure time. Overnight at the hotel.

Depart for a fullday tour of Bako National Park. Journey by car and longboat to this small peninsula, home to seven rainforest ecosystems. Discover an incredible variety of flora and fauna, including proboscis monkeys, silvered langurs, macaques, wild boars, flying squirrels, monitor lizards and over 100 bird species.Enjoy a packed lunch during your visit and return to the hotel by late afternoon. Spend the evening at your leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Begin your journey to Sri Aman with stops at Serian Town and Pepper Garden. Visit the local market to see native fruits and vegetables and enjoy a coffee break at a local kopitiam (coffee shop). Continue to the Pepper Garden to learn about the famous pepper vines.Stop for lunch at Lachau Café before arriving in Sri Aman in the late afternoon. If time permits, visit Fort Alice a heritage site built in 1864 to commemorate Rajah Charles Brooke’s victory. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Travel to the hydro dam for a motorised longboat ride along the Engkari River. Arrive at the Iban Mengkak Longhouse, perched on a hill by the river and enjoy a cultural performance and blowpipe demonstration.Savour a traditional lunch and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Return to Sri Aman by the same route for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Depart Sri Aman for Kuching, retracing your journey with a stop for lunch at a roadside town. Upon arrival in Kuching, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mulu. Upon arrival you’ll be greeted and transferred to the Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa. In the afternoon visit Mulu National Park headquarters followed by a return transfer to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Take a longboat to Batu Bungan Penan Settlement to experience tribal life and shop for handicrafts. Continue to Wing Cave and Clearwater Cave where you’ll enjoy lunch at the Clearwater summer huts and can take a refreshing swim in the spring. Return to the resort by longboat for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy the morning at leisure before transferring to Mulu Airport for your onward journey.
